How to Play
Two games, one dataset. Each takes about five minutes and resets every day at midnight UTC — same puzzle for everyone, everywhere.
Daily Grid (Doku)
A 3×3 grid. Each row and column has a category — a game, a trait, a role. Every cell is the intersection of its row and column: fill it with a boss, NPC, or enemy that satisfies both.
- You get three Estus — only a wrong guess spends one, so correct answers cost nothing.
- No entity can be used twice in the same grid.
- Each correct answer earns a rarity score: the less obvious your valid pick, the more it's worth. Knowing the deep cut beats naming Malenia every time.
- Your grid is locked and scored once all nine cells are filled or your last Estus is gone.
Classic
Guess the day's mystery boss. After each guess, a row of clue tiles shows how your guess compares to the answer:
- Green — exact match on that attribute.
- Gold — close (e.g. a different Dark Souls game, or an ordered field with an arrow pointing toward the answer).
- Grey — no match.
Arrows (▲▼) on the Game tile point toward the answer's release order. Keep guessing until you find it — fewer guesses is a better score.
Souls & Levels
Both games pay out in souls, and souls buy levels. Your total and your level sit in the top bar; tap the level to rest at the bonfire and spend what you're carrying. Every level costs more than the one before it, so the early ones come in a single session and the later ones take weeks.
- Miss a day without finishing a daily and the souls you're carrying drop where you fell — like a bloodstain, they stay there and wait.
- Finish any daily and you pick up all of them — the victory screen shows exactly how much came back. The drop never expires and nothing can take it, however long you're gone.
- Souls already spent on levels are safe. A level, once bought, is never lost.
Streaks & Sharing
Play every day to build a streak. When you finish, tap Share for a spoiler-free emoji grid you can drop anywhere. Your streak and stats are saved on your device automatically — no account needed.
Practice anytime
Don't want to wait for tomorrow? Unlimited serves endless fresh grids, and Classic has a practice mode — neither touches your daily streak.
